Empowering these young minds to break free from poverty and stride confidently into a bright future.

Empowering Minds, Building Futures: One Student at a Time.

In the small district of Bundibugyo, we encountered a young girl named Alice who captured our hearts. Her appearance was unassuming, without a uniform or fancy school shoes, but her intelligence shined brightly as she topped her class in academics. Her picture (Picture number 1) is more than just an image; it tells a story of hope and potential, a story that embodies the spirit of our mission.

Here at Caring Hearts Uganda, we are diligently working to ensure that children like Alice can continue their education without any barriers. Through our “Pad The Genius Queens” initiative, we’re making certain that girls have the opportunity to stay in school and complete their studies. This initiative isn’t limited to just girls, though. We also recognize and assist the boys, our “Kings,” who support the girls in their academics.

We believe that education is a crucial key to breaking the cycle of poverty, and our commitment to equipping girls with all the tools necessary for success in school reflects that belief. Part of our mission involves promoting proper menstrual hygiene, an essential aspect that can often be a barrier to education.

During the 2023 academic year, we have visited nearly twenty schools in various villages across Bundibugyo. Our goal is clear: to provide girls like Alice with the essential supplies they need for the rest of the year. It’s about more than just material support; it’s about empowering these young minds to break free from poverty and stride confidently into a future filled with promise and opportunity.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our partners for standing with us in this noble endeavor. Together, we are making a tangible difference in the lives of many children, fostering a future filled with possibilities and promise. Thank you for being part of this journey, a journey towards a brighter and more hopeful tomorrow.

Get in Touch. Get Involved.

We believe that menstrual health, primary healthcare & proper hygiene is a basic right. We can't wait for government to do ALL the work when we can help. The little we can do, we must do.
